Sean P. Malone

Sean helps clients resolve disputes, reduce risk, and grow their businesses.​​ He litigates cases throughout state and federal courts, serves as a mediator, and handles real estate and business transactions.

Sean also provides outside general counsel services for companies, including:

• negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts, leases, and terms and conditions;

• ensuring zoning, permitting, and regulatory compliance;

• protecting intellectual property and proprietary information; and

• risk management.

Sean is a member of Shaker Heights City Council, where he serves as Council’s representative on the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals, as Chair of the Recreation Committee, and as a member of the Administration Committee. He previously served as Vice Mayor and as Chair of the Finance Committee.

Sean also volunteers with the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3-Rs program and as a youth sports coach, and serves as a musician at St. Dominic Church and on the Board of the Shaker Heights Development Corporation.
