Profile
Sean helps clients resolve disputes, reduce risk, and grow their businesses.
​
In addition to litigating cases throughout state and federal courts, he serves as a mediator and handles arbitrations, government investigations, and administrative proceedings. He also provides counsel on zoning and regulatory compliance and has negotiated and drafted agreements of all kinds.
​
Sean is a member of Shaker Heights City Council, where he serves as Vice Mayor and as Council’s representative on the Planning Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals. He is also Chair of the City's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee,
a member of the Sustainability and Recreation Committees, the former Chair of the Finance Committee, and on the Board of the Shaker Heights Development Corporation.

Sean is a team leader in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s 3-Rs program, a former member of the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland’s Pro Bono Committee, a youth sports coach, and a musician at St. Dominic Church.
​
Before joining Malone Law, Sean practiced law with Jones Day in Washington, D.C., and Kohrman, Jackson, & Krantz in Cleveland.
